Saturday July 26th

Loiuse and Stefan - They were married in the restored former Coaching Inn in Great Chesterford, near Saffron Walden. Another very good venue. If you've not been there then do so! The day was very hot and passed by so quickly, as is usually the case. Louise and Stefan were certainly 'into the photos' and up for a good laugh.

Friday July 25th

I'm local today for the wedding of Katharine and Stephen. The ceremony being held in the beautiful church in Fulbourn, just outside of Cambridge. The choir was truly outstanding. The reception was held at The Temple, Lt Abington, again just short drive out of Cambridge. The Temple is a really great venue, one of my personal favourites. It's such a great setting where Sally and Robin work so hard to ensure your day is a success.

Saturday 19th July

I was local today for the wedding of Laura & Edward. The ceremony was held in Ely Register Office and then it was off to the Red Barn at Runcton Holme. A 15th century barn beautifully converted. Again the weather done it's thing! bright sunshine followed by heavy showers all afternoon. The whole day went well and I captured some great moments. Thank you to Laura and Edward for being patient with me! I think you'll like the result.

Friday 18th July

The wedding of Laura & Tony took place at Blake Hall in Ongar. The ceremony and the reception were held there in the converted barn, and what an amazing barn it is. The hall and grounds make a fantastic backdrop for the photos and no rain, just sunshine. It even felt like a summers day!

Saturday July 12th

This weeks wedding again sees me in the depths of Suffolk and was an amazing day, despite the rain. Kirsten & Iain's ceremony was held in the village church with the reception held in the grounds of the families ancestral home. The Bride look stunning and the Groom was not bad either! There was enough sunshine between the showers to get the photos done and it was a real pleasure to be a part of the whole day.

Saturday July 5th

Today I'm covered a wedding in Thorpness on the East Coast. The venue is the Country Club which is situated right on the beach with amazing views along the coast line. After the ceremony and a few pictures the bride, groom, best men and bridesmaids went onto the beach. The bride and bridesmaids went for a paddle, and got a bit wet when a larger than expected wave came! Despite the rain in the morning the sun shone for the afternoon and made for some really good images of the day.

July 3rd

This evening I'm at Bedford Lodge in Newmarket to photograph a Gala awards ceremony. I've been looking forward to covering this event. Now that I'm back home after the event the evening has been a very enjoyable one!
